Hello! I’m finally back! All of my exams are done! No more school!! The excitement is real! And the summer is finally here! It means that I finally have more time for blogging. I will be traveling the whole summer, so you can expect so many blogs about traveling from me.
This time I will talk about my trip to Italy on April. I have posted a video from this trip: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UzymbOWQW5A
This post is about Milano! When somebody says Milan, the first thing that comes to mind is fashion. Yeaaa, everybody is really pretty and unique there. But we found some other cool things to do there. We stayed in an apartment not that far from the city center. So we basically walked all around the city. Of course the first thing we had to see was Duomo di Milano. It’s one of the most beautiful cathedrals I have ever seen! Everything about that building is just breathtaking. Words can’t describe how amazing everything looks there. The view from the top is really cool. You can see the whole city from the top. The amount of detail that went into sculpting the spires on the roof of the church is seriously mind-blowing. It’s a must to see it! After that we had to go to Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II. It’s so pretty! But I think it looks better at night. All of those shops and lights! We also went to Sfarzo Castle. “Sfarzo Castle is a historic fortress which houses several of Milan’s best museums including the Pinacoteca del Castello Sforzesco.”
After exploring this wonderful castle, we bought some snacks from the China town and went to Sempione park just to relax and enjoy the nature around us. It actually was really surprising so see so many people working out there. Everybody seems to be really active and I think that it’s really amazing.
Then we went to Cimitero Monumentale. “This cemetery is famous for the vast amount of sculptures, monuments and elaborate headstones.” We didn’t spend that much time there because it was a bit creepy.
Of course, the whole Milan is full of incredible buildings and places to see, it’s just so difficult to remember them all. You can see everything from my photos. I forgot to mention that we spent 2 full days in Milan. Both of those days ended in some cool restaurants with spritz.
I hope you will like this post. I will update my blog soon with another travel post. Thank you for reading!
