Benalmadena, Spain

Heyyy,

I’m back with another travel blog post. This post is about my trip to Benalmadena, Costa del Sol, Spain. I went there quite a long time ago but I still want to share my experience with you.

Me and my mum went there last April and we did not expect it to be too hot but we got really sunburnt in the first few hours! We came back home with a beautiful tan! We stayed in a hotel which was about 5 minutes away from the beach and 10 minutes away from the city centre. It was a perfect location because we would spend our mornings at the beach and evenings walking around the city and shopping. Banalmadena is full of amazing places to visit and all of them are so different. One of my favourites was “Parque De La Paloma”. It is a beautiful park and you can spend hours there because it has so many different things to do. A beautiful lake, lots of interesting trees, animals, amazing birds etc.

Another cool place for a nice walk and some pictures is “Benalmadena Puerto Marina”. They have lots of ships, yachts, cute cafes and shops filled with sea related souvenirs.  You can even book a boat tour for a nice day out in the sea. Banalmadena also has some beautiful churches in the old village, so it’s full of culture.

My favourite part about Banalmadena was “Teleferico Benalmadena”. You have to take a cable car to get there because it is very high up and it takes about 15 minutes to get there.          When you get to the top, there lots of hiking trails you can choose from and we spent a few hours just hiking. When you get to the very top of the mountain, you get to see this incredible view of the entire Costa del Sol. After your hike you can watch shows of exotic birds, falcons, eagles and some other wild animals. It was one of my favourite days in Banalmadena, I just love spending my days in places like this which amazing views.

I do not have much to say about food there because we had food included in our hotel but they lots of vegan ice cream at any ice cream shop. The fruit is pretty cheap there, we got a massive box of strawberries for a few euros. Drinks like sangria are really cheap too.

  1. Your mom is very pretty. You look like sisters for God’s sake ! Like the post as I had never heard of this city before. Thank you for liking my post on March travel quotes. Looks like you’ve been inspired to travel.

  2. The marina looks really fancy with those boats and apartments around.

Those ice cream blends look feasty!

And, hey – that’s your Twitter pose – that photo is wonderful by the way!

I was wondering how you changed so fast, until I saw the last photograph. I guess you were staying near the area.

It looks like a lovely day!
