Yacht party in Greece

Heyy,

I was really happy to see so many of you like my first post about Greece. Thank you so much for reading!

On our second day in Greece we decided to go to Palaiokastritsa which is a town on Corfu island. I think it’s one of the most beautiful places on the island. So if you ever visit Corfu, you should definitely go there! In Greece they even have songs about this place. It’s amazing! The sand is white and the water is clear, the beaches are surrounded by these beautiful cliffs, beaches in Palaiokastritsa are everything you dream about. If I ever go back to Corfu, I will try to find a place to stay in Palaiokastritsa because it is that amazing.
So, what we did is that we rented a yacht/boat to explore all the small islands. The reason why we decided to do that is because it was my mum’s birthday and we thought that it would be a perfect way to celebrate. We spent the entire day in the sea, stopping at random little islands, swimming and enjoying the sun. It was one of the best expereinces ever. If you ever get a chance to do something like that, you definitely should!

Controlling the yacht isn’t as hard as it looks like, even I tried doing it and it went really well, so if you are worried about that, I can tell you that it’s pretty easy.

There are lots of places at the beach where you can rent them but they might not have any boats at certain times or have just really small boats. We did everything online because it was cheaper and you can even choose the type and size.

I think it was one of the best and most special days we spent in Greece!
I hope you enjoyed this post and thank you for reading!

  1. Corfu was one of my favorite places! It’s so nice to read about someone else going there ! So many people when they go to Greece they go to the “big name” places like Santorini or Mykonos and no one ever goes or talks about Corfu. Loved the article !
